Clarity Sign In

Everyone accounted for when the alarm goes.

Clarity Sign In is site sign-in and evacuation for construction sites. People register once, then sign in and out on a tablet at the gate each day. You can see who is on site right now, and when the alarm goes, enrolled phones are alerted and the roll call is ready.

Three things it changes

Who is on site, right now

Currently On Site sits at the top of the register and updates itself every few seconds. A missed sign-out is corrected and recorded, never silently changed.

A roll call the moment it starts

One press of Evacuate locks the tablet, alerts every enrolled phone with the site's name first, and opens a roll call built from exactly who was signed in. Every site manager is emailed it.

Works at the muster point

Lift the tablet off the wall and carry it out. The roll call keeps working out of WiFi range and sends the ticks when back in range.

Who it is for

Site managers

See who is on site at any moment, start an evacuation from the Evacuation app on your phone, and receive the roll call and the weekly sign-in report.

Principal Contractors

Set each site up once: its companies, its people and the gate tablet. Every sign-in, evacuation and drill stays on the record.

Contractors and operatives

Register once from the QR poster or at the tablet, then tap your name at the gate each day. Switch on evacuation alerts with one tap.

Fire marshals

Take the tablet to the muster point and tick people off as they answer. Anyone not yet accounted for is shown with their phone number.

Built for the evacuation, not just the register

A sign-in book records who came in. Clarity Sign In is built for the moment that record matters. Pressing Evacuate locks the tablet, so the list stops moving, and opens a roll call built from exactly who was signed in at that moment.

Take the tablet to the muster point. It keeps working out of WiFi range and sends the ticks once it is back. Ending the roll call is always a deliberate, confirmed press, so a mis-tap cannot stand down a live evacuation.

Phone alerts do not replace the alarm. They reach people the sounder may not, but they depend on a signal. The sounders, call points and fire marshals remain the means of raising the alarm.

Questions people ask about Clarity Sign In

What is Clarity Sign In?

A web app for site sign-in and evacuation. People sign in and out on a tablet at the site entrance, managers can see who is on site right now, and pressing Evacuate locks the tablet, alerts enrolled phones and opens a roll call built from who was signed in.

How much does Clarity Sign In cost?

After the trial it is £46.80 a month per live site, or £468 a year. Prices include VAT.

Who is charged for?

Charged per live site, unlimited users. Site sign-in on its own: people sign in and out at the gate each day, you can see who is on site right now, and in an evacuation their phones are alerted and the roll call is ready.

How does it work on site?

People register once, on their own phone from a QR code or on the gate tablet; after that they sign in and out on the tablet at the gate each day.

Do we need a tablet at the gate?

Yes. Sign-in happens on a tablet, or another shared device, left at the site entrance with the kiosk open. People tap their name and need no login. Screen pinning or Guided Access keeps the tablet on the kiosk.

How do people get onto the register?

Three ways, all ending on one list: they scan the QR poster with their own phone, press Register here on the tablet, or you import a spreadsheet. Everyone picks their company from a fixed list, so one firm never appears under six spellings.

What happens when somebody presses Evacuate?

The tablet locks and the roll call opens, built from exactly who was signed in. Every phone with alerts switched on is told, site name first, and the roll call is emailed to every site manager. People not yet ticked off are alerted again.

Does the roll call work without WiFi?

Yes. The tablet saves a copy of the roll call while it has signal, so it keeps working at the muster point and sends the ticks once back in range. You can also print the muster sheet at the start of each shift.

Do phone alerts replace the fire alarm?

No. Alerts reach people the sounder may not, but they depend on a phone signal. The sounders, call points and fire marshals remain the means of raising the alarm. Only the person holding a phone can switch alerts on for it.

Can we run drills, and is there a record?

Yes. A drill runs exactly like the real thing, with the same alert and roll call, and is filed as a drill. Every evacuation and drill is recorded with times, who was on site and who was accounted for.
