Clarity Snagging
Every snag closed, with proof it was.
Clarity Snagging is snagging for construction sites. Raise each snag on your phone as you walk the site, with photos, and assign it to a contractor. Each contractor works through theirs in their own portal, with no login, and a certificate shows each snag was inspected and signed off.
Three things it changes
Raise snags at walking pace
Set the area, who it goes to and the due date once. Then each snag is what is wrong, a photo and Save and Next. With no signal, snags wait on the phone and send themselves later.
Each contractor in their own portal
Contractors open their own list from a direct link, with no login. They ask questions, send photos and mark work ready with after-photos.
A certificate for every closed snag
Each closed snag has a certificate to print or download: who inspected and closed it and when, the contractor's report, and the photos as found, from the contractor and at inspection.
Who it is for
Site managers
Run the snag register: filter by area, contractor, severity or overdue, inspect what contractors mark ready, and close each snag with a photo.
Snaggers on the site team
Walk the site with the snag app, picking the area with one tap and raising each snag with photos as you find it, even where there is no signal.
Contractors and subcontractors
Get one email listing your new snags, then work through them in your own portal: ask a question, send photos, and mark each ready when done.
Teams preparing for handover
Print the list by area for the walk and the handover, or by contractor to give to them, each with a ruled column to sign off in ink.
Both sides of every snag, on one record
On a snag's own page, your team's comments and photos sit on one side and the contractor's report, photos and messages on the other, with a dated audit trail between them. Their words are read-only, so they can never be edited or mistaken for yours.
Each snag records when it was logged, when it was marked ready and when it was closed, and by whom. A send-back stays on the record, and the certificate is built from that same record, so the paper and the screen cannot disagree.
Contractors are never sent one email per snag. Each gets one list of everything new, the next morning or as soon as you press Send Their List Now.

Questions people ask about Clarity Snagging
What is Clarity Snagging?
A web app for snagging on site. You raise snags on a phone as you walk, with photos, and assign each to a contractor. Each contractor works through theirs in their own portal, with no login, and every closed snag has a certificate showing who inspected and closed it, and when.
How much does Clarity Snagging cost?
After the trial it is £34.80 a month per live site, or £348 a year. Prices include VAT.
Who is charged for?
Charged per live site, unlimited users. Snagging on its own: walk the site with your phone, raise and assign snags, contractors close them out with photos in their own portal, and a certificate shows each one was signed off.
How does it work on site?
Snags are raised on a phone as you walk the site. Each contractor gets their own portal, reached from a direct link with no login, to close theirs out with photos, and a certificate shows each one was signed off.
Do contractors need a login or an app?
No. Each contractor's portal opens from a direct link, so there is no login to set up. To send photos from a phone they scan a QR code with its camera. Their messages and photos appear on the snag for your team.
Does it work where there is no signal?
Yes. The snag app keeps working offline: each snag and its photos are held on the phone and the form clears for the next one. They send themselves when the signal returns, and a banner shows while any are waiting.
How do contractors hear about their snags?
Never one email per snag. Each contractor gets one email listing everything new for them, the next morning or straight away when you press Send Their List Now. Overdue snags are chased in one email, at most once a day.
Who closes a snag, the contractor or us?
Both have a step. The contractor says what they did, attaches after-photos and marks it ready for inspection. Your team then inspects and closes it or sends it back. Each step is dated and named on the snag.
Can we organise snags by area and severity?
Yes. Name your plots, levels or units once as areas, and the register counts open snags in each. Each snag can be Critical, Major or Minor, and you can filter by area, contractor, severity or what is overdue.
Can we print or export the snag list?
Yes. Print by Area for the walk and the handover, or by Contractor to hand to them, each with a ruled column to sign off in ink. The register also exports to Excel.
