The alarm goes at 11:40. Can you name everyone on your site?

Not roughly. Exactly.

Wouldn't it be great if you could:

— See who signed in this morning, live, from your phone

— Alert every one of them in a single tap

— Hand the marshal a printed muster sheet on the way out

Most sites still run this on a paper book in the cabin, a WhatsApp group half the subcontractors are not in, and someone counting heads in a car park.

That is the arrangement being judged if it ever goes wrong.

We have spent the last year building PC Site Manager around problems like this one. Sign-in runs digitally — QR code at the gate, kiosk in the cabin, or the operative's own phone. The roll call is live. One control alerts everyone signed in that day, and the muster sheet prints itself.

Drills run from the same screen and log as drills, so the alarm testing record builds itself.

Regulation 13 requires the Principal Contractor to plan, manage and monitor the construction phase. An accurate head count is the most basic form of that.
